First year, first subjects, first experiences...

New monday, new post on my blog. I'm in the library in the only computer that is free, with the heating over me, it's very hot here and my ideas start to melt and fall on the keyboard.

Preinter3fall2011, session 4: Write about your favorite subject. I start to think and list in my head all the subjects we have. First year, first semester, all subjects are so general and boring: chemistry definitely no, I hate it!, math uhmm yes I like it, but I think it have no much relation with the career. A pair more subjects that I don't remember the names and Zoology. Zoology... I like it! In this subject we see all animals, from the most little and unknown parasite to the mammals. It external and internal morphology, characteristics, importance and implications in life. We always have the classes with differents teachers, everyone in his speciality and every friday we have laboratory.

I really like it, because in moment is the closer subject with the career and, the most important for me, I like to go to the laboratory, because I always think that in the practice is where we more learn, when you can really see, touch, feel and experimentalise. It doesn't serves to know all the theory if you don't know how to apply it.

I really want that this semester is fast over, to start with the practice with animals. A little more action, more terrain and less classroom. The best is coming soon.

She isn't a scientific, a doctor or a vet, but I admire her.

When I read what should we do on seasson 3 "Write about a person in your field you admire" I thought immediately "Che Guevara", but I have always this problem: I read too fast and I haven't read this time "IN YOUR FIELD". So, I started to think, and think, and think about who can I wirte.

Today I'm gonna tell you about a friend who is studying veterinary too. Why a friend and not a "very important person in the world of medice"? Well, I know this person since I was 6 years and she is a very good friend of mine and in some aspects I admire her. And we always admire someone who is far away of us, that we didn't know, and maybe the most important and admirably people are on our side.

She is Constanza Andrade Fluxá, Konny for her friends, and she is 21 years old. We study toghether at German School in La Serena, the 12 years. Now she is studying veterinary, here in Santiago, in the Mayor University, she is doing the 4th year.

In my life she is a very important person, I can say she is one of this persons that have a "good and noble heart". She was and is always when I have a problem or simply when we only want to have a good time. And, the most important thing for this topic: I haven't see ever in the world someone who loves more animals than she!!! Every kind of animals, big, smalls, beautiful, strange, wild, all of them!!! I admire her capacity of giving love, of care the animals, as they're persons. She could have a lot of things to study and to do, but she always take a long time to play and be with her pets, everyday. She has an incredible connection with animals. Sometimes I think she's like Eliza Thornberry and she can speak with animals and we don't know jajajaja.

Well, in 1 or 2 years Konny will be a Vet and I'm sure that I will continue admiring her and that I can learn many things about the career with her, because she is very intellingent too. And maybe one of the reasons, because I'm studying Vet is a present that Konny gives me in my last birthday...
